Transaction Options Menu

Groovv Register’s Transaction Options Drawer (shown below), appears on the left of your screen when you when you touch the Groovv icon in the top left hand corner of your register's item grid. As you may have noticed the transaction options changed depending upon what point in the day or a sale you are in. 
 
Before/After a Sale
After a sale takes place the below options are displayed. However, before a sale you will the same options, but without Reprint Receipt and Email Receipt.
 
 
The Transaction Options Menu provides a series of functions related to transactions, items, customers and the option to log into the register. 
 
Clerk/Server Login - Is where any given manager or employee can go to log into the register.  The register identifies clerks by requesting their pin, NOT their login name. Upon entry of any clerk’s correct password, you will be returned to the register screen, now displaying your clerk ID name at the bottom of the register’s transaction display window.
No Sale - This function can be used to clear out the register display after voiding a transaction. (To use this feature, upon completion of a void, select No Sale from the slide out drawer.)
Transaction LookupThis function allows you to search your registers transactions by receipt #.
Return - The Return option allows you to reverse/refund customers for transaction that occurred prior to the current day. (This feature is disabled for merchants using the Magtek swiper.)
Item InquiryThis allows you to view the status/details for any inventory item on hand, including Q.O.H. (To use this feature, select Item Inquiry from the slide out drawer, then select the item you wish to view such details for.)
Paid Out - Can be used for tracking cash removed from the cash drawer by the business, and will be subtracted from cash on hand for the day. (To use this, select Paid Out, then enter the amount of cash removed from the drawer.)
Paid InCan be used for tracking cash added to the cash drawer by the business, and will be added to cash on hand for the day. (To use this, select Paid In, then enter the amount of cash added to the drawer.)
Add items -  This function can be used to add new items to your register without logging into your back office.

Tables - Brings you to the Table Select screen 
 
Options below available after a Sale
Reprint Receipt -  Will instantly attempt to reprint the last transaction’s receipt.
Email Receipt - Allow register users to email a copy of the last transaction’s receipt to your customer.
 
During a Sale
After a sale takes place the below options are displayed. However, before a sale you will the same options, but without Reprint Receipt and Email Receipt.
 
 
 
Void Transaction - Voiding a transaction from this menu will not stop processing from taking place. A void from this menu will stop the current transaction to free the receipt area for a new transaction. The transaction that was voided has now been used and can not be reused again.
Manager Login - - Manager overrides are established from the System Data portion of the back office.
Return - The Return option allows you to reverse/refund customers for transaction that occurred prior to the current day. (To use this feature, select Transaction Lookup from the slide out drawer, then enter the receipt # you wish to refund a customer for.)
Item Inquiry - This allows you to view the status/details for any inventory item on hand, including Q.O.H. (To use this feature, select Item Inquiry from the slide out drawer, then select the item you wish to view such details for.)

Save TicketSaves the tables items added to the ticket
Reprint Receipt
Guests Allows the clerk/server to edit the number of guests at a table without returning to the Table Select screen
